Iowa High School Volleyball - Madrid edged by Colfax-Mingo

The Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks held off the host Madrid Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigerhawks now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host H-L-V for a South Iowa Cedar test on Monday, September 18. Colfax-Mingo will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-15.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Trojans enter the West Central test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Pleasantville was nudged by Pella Christian (Pella, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
