The North Butler Bearcats held off the visiting Colo-NESCO Royals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bearcats now have a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hancock for a non-league test on Thursday, October 12.

The Royals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Gladbrook-Reinbeck was nudged by South Hardin (Eldora, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
