The DeLand-Weldon Eagles volleyball team (DeLand, IL), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL)

The Pretzels (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans come into the Sangamo challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Maroa-Forsyth went down by Eastland (Lanark, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. DeLand-Weldon will attempt to move on its 2-16 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL).
