In Saturday's non-league battle, the host East Mills volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Interstate 35 Roadrunners.
The (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Martensdale-St. Mary's defeated Central Decatur (Leon, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Roadrunners encounter the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. Interstate 35 will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA).
