The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Gateway Science Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Gateway Science Academy lost by Principia (St. Louis, MO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Flyers clash with the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. East St. Louis will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).
