In Saturday's non-league contest, the East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Gateway Science Academy Gators (St. Louis, MO), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Raiders battle the Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 16. East Peoria will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record.
With the loss, Gateway Science Academy moves to 2-2 on the year. The Gators host Affton (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Monday, October 2. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 8-5.
