The Cubs now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altoona-Midway for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Humboldt will meet a Jets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Yates Center (Yates Center, KS). The Jets record now stands at 0-5.

The Golden Tornado (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Crest (Colony, KS). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Crest defeated Northeast (Arma, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
