Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 26. Sandhills Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record.

With the loss, Gibbon drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 2-10. Arcadia/Loup City won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE)
