The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) and the host North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), saw GMG's volleyball squad nip North Butler by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, GMG upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Gladbrook-Reinbeck lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)

The Bearcats now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to West Hancock for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12.
