In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Highland Huskies volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Twin Cedars Sabers.

The Huskies (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Van Buren County lost by Notre Dame (Burlington, IA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Sabers clash with the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA) in a Bluegrass battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Twin Cedars will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA).
