The St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) volleyball nudged the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, St. John's betters its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cadets travel to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to face the Cardinals in a outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Bishop Ireton lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD)

The Cougars now sport a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 19.
