The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) and the visiting Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA), saw Wilton's volleyball squad beat Jefferson by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Wilton upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Beavers host Durant (Durant, IA) to play the Wildcats in a River Valley South bout on Thursday, September 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

The Hawks now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Linn-Mar for a Mississippi Valley - Valley bout on Thursday, September 21.
