The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) and the visiting Jordan Hubmen / Jaguars (Jordan, MN), saw Winona's volleyball squad beat Jordan by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Winona upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Winhawks travel to Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN) to play the Tigers in a Big 9 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Albert Lea lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Austin (Austin, MN)
The Hubmen / Jaguars now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host New Prague for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Jordan will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Roseville (Roseville, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.
