South Dakota High School Volleyball - Riggs tips Lincoln

September 16, 2023: Pierre, SD 57501

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) and the visiting Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD), saw Riggs's volleyball squad nip Lincoln by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Riggs upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Governors travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 17-4.

The Patriots now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Yankton for a AA District 1 bout on Tuesday, September 19. Lincoln will play a Bucks/Gazelles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Bucks/Gazelles record now stands at 2-8.
