The Lynnville-Sully Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Pekin Panthers to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hawks now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montezuma for a South Iowa Cedar game on Monday, September 18. Lynnville-Sully will meet a Braves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Braves record now stands at 5-12.

The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Moravia held off Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
