The Lancers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Grayhounds enter the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Burlington nipped Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolves encounter the Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) in a WAMAC - West challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Marion will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Grinnell (Grinnell, IA).
