The Cardinals now possess a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paintsville for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Mayfield will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 12-6.

The Yellowjackets (11-11) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 15-6 record. In their last game, Bishop Brossart defeated Raceland (Raceland, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
