Mercy Bears (Burlingame, CA) followers went home happy Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Washington Huskies (Fremont, CA), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Bears now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwood for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Mercy will meet a Giants team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Giants record now stands at 7-2.

The Huskies (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons enter the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Bishop O'Dowd was dropped by James Logan (Union City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
