In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Washington School for the Deaf Terriers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans.
The Terriers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Three Rivers Christian (Longview, WA). The Eagles come into the 1B Columbia Valley battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Three Rivers Christian lost by Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans clash with the International School of Minnesota Huskies (Eden Prairie, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
