Florida High School Volleyball - Northeast edged by Mitchell

The Mitchell Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Northeast Vikings to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keswick Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Mitchell will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lakewood (St. Petersburg, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-3.

The Vikings (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 11-0 record. In their last game, Oak Hall held off St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
