Virginia High School Volleyball - Southampton tips Model Secondary School for the Deaf

The Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) volleyball tipped the visiting Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Southampton upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) to face the Ambassadors in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 16. The Ambassadors go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Norfolk Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA)

The Eagles now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kempsville for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 16. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-4.
