The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) and the visiting Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR), saw Nelson's volleyball squad beat Redmond by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Nelson upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The host Parkrose (Portland, OR) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Parkrose lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR)

The Panthers now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Summit for a 5A Intermountain bout on Tuesday, September 19. Redmond will play a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sprague (Salem, OR). The Storm record now stands at 3-3.
