The Northwestern Area Wildcats volleyball team (Mellette, SD), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD)
The Black Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Trojans enter the A Region 5 challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Parkston defeated Lennox (Lennox, SD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. Northwestern Area will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
