The Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Osage Green Devils to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Saturday, September 16. Sumner-Fredericksburg will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league win over Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 16-2.

The Green Devils (11-5) will now prepare for their game against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Van Meter defeated Earlham (Earlham, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
