The Osceola Bulldogs held off the host Sandhills Valley Mavericks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick's for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Osceola will confront a Irish team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Irish record now stands at 5-7.

The Mavericks (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Arcadia/Loup City was nudged by Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE), 2-1, in a non-league test.
