In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Pope John Paul II volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Anthony's Friars.
The (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes come into the non-league battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Liberty achieved victory over Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Friars clash with the Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY) in a Catholic battle, on Tuesday, September 19. St. Anthony's will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
