The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) and the host Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA), saw University Prep Academy's volleyball squad nip Presentation by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, University Prep Academy upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Golden Eagles host The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA) to play the Mavericks in a Private School - Bay bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 5-3. The Nueva School won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA)

The Panthers now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Fremont for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Presentation will play a Firebirds squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Firebirds record now stands at 4-9.
