The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) and the host Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), saw Red Oak's volleyball squad nip Sioux Center by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Red Oak upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Tigers host Harlan (Harlan, IA) to confront the Cyclones in a Hawkeye Ten test on Tuesday, September 19. The Cyclones enter the test with a record of 5-11. Harlan lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Clarinda (Clarinda, IA)

The Warriors (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Fremont-Mills held off Essex (Essex, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
