The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) and the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), saw Schaumburg's volleyball squad beat Trinity by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Schaumburg upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Saxons host Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Cougars in a Mid-Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-9.

The Blazers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard North for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Trinity will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-11.
