The Vega Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Shamrock Irish to 0 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Saturday.

The Longhorns now have a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sanford-Fritch for a 2A Region I District 1 game on Tuesday, September 19.

The Irish (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 17-6 record.
