The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the St. Michael Cardinals (St. Michaels, AZ) and the visiting Shonto Prep Grizzlies (Shonto, AZ), saw St. Michael's volleyball squad beat Shonto Prep by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Michael upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Many Farms won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Greyhills Academy (Tuba City, AZ)

The Grizzlies now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Canyon for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Shonto Prep will play a Phantoms squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Basis (Flagstaff, AZ). The Phantoms record now stands at 6-4.
