The Tintic Miners baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Pinnacle Panthers to 3 in the Miners non-league win on Monday.

The Miners now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Altamont for a 1A - North test on Friday, September 20. Tintic will play a Longhorns team coming off a 11-1 league win over Tintic (Eureka, UT). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-5.

With the defeat, Pinnacle drops to 1-12 on the year. The Panthers host Wayne (Bicknell, UT) to play the Badgers in a 1A - South test on Wednesday, September 18. The Badgers go into the test with a record of 5-11. Wayne lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Piute (Junction, UT)
