The Cobras go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Chula Vista Learning Community Charter won 26-12 in their recent non-league battle against Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA)

The Lancers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Camino for a Avocado battle on Tuesday, September 17. Carlsbad will play a Wildcats team coming off a 33-12 non-league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
