Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) followers went home pleased Monday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA), 20-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Classical Academy advances its record to 11-1 on the season. The Caimans travel to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 18. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 10-2. JSerra Catholic won 39-7 in their recent non-league battle against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

The Mavericks now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to San Dieguito Academy for a Avocado battle on Tuesday, September 17. La Costa Canyon will play a Mustangs team coming off a 46-0 non-league win over Vista (Vista, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
