In Monday's non-league match, the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints football squad scored a close 55-51 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.
The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Central (Providence, RI). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Central tipped Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 14-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Oakers confront the Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 23. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
