In their next game, the Little Lions play the Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. State College will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 44-14 non-league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA).

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Central Dauphin was dropped by Altoona (Altoona, PA), 33-6, in a non-league challenge.
