Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Clifton Central improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Beecher (Beecher, IL) to encounter the Bobcats in a battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 4-3.

The Trojans now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flanagan-Cornell for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 18. Dwight will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
