Fans at Monday's league battle between the Leo Lions (Leo, IN) and the visiting Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN), saw Leo's soccer squad knock off Bellmont by a count of 3-1.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons enter the Northeast Hoosier battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, DeKalb by Huntington North (Huntington, IN), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Braves battle the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Bellmont will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Richmond (Richmond, IN).
