Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Miller School of Albemarle moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Boys' Home (Covington, VA) to meet the Hilltoppers in a non-league test on Friday, September 20. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Caissons now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19.
