In Monday's non-league outing, the host Hibriten Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Patton Panthers.
The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Brevard tipped R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Panthers confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing, on Wednesday, September 18. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Chase (Forest City, NC).
