Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) and the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), saw Jersey Shore's soccer squad hold off Sullivan County by a count of 3-2.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves enter the PIAA District IV-AAA battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Shikellamy was edged by Williamsport (Williamsport, PA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Griffins confront the Benton Tigers (Benton, PA) in a Mid-Penn D4 battle, on Wednesday, September 18. Sullivan County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 5-1 league win over Muncy (Muncy, PA).
