In Monday's non-league outing, the host The Gunston School Herons soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Laurel Bulldogs.
The Herons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings go into the MIAA C outing with a 3-4 record.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) in a Henlopen South outing, on Tuesday, September 17. Laurel will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 5-0 league loss to Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE).
