The Grandfield Bearcats softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Central Bronchos to 7 in the Bearcats non-league win on Monday.

The Bearcats now possess a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ringling for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 17. Grandfield will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 12-2 league win over Empire (Duncan, OK). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Central moves to 13-13 on the season. The Bronchos host Empire (Duncan, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class A battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 10-12. Empire lost 12-2 in their recent league battle against Ringling (Ringling, OK)
