The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) and the visiting Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA), observed Morgan County's softball team prevail over Mary Persons by a tally of 8-0.

The Bulldogs (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Cavaliers go into the 2A Region 2 bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, Callaway knocked off Jackson (Jackson, GA), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 17. Mary Persons will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 15-3 league win over Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).
