Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MO) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Mercer Cardinals (Mercer, MO), 11-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Princeton upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Harrison (Eagleville, MO) to play the Shamrocks in a Class 1 District 15 game on Tuesday, September 17. The Shamrocks enter the game with a record of 0-3.

The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Tri-County for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 17.
