In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Oakfield-Alabama Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Batavia Blue Devils.

The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheatland-Chili (Scottsville, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 5 Genesee County I challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Wheatland-Chili was beaten by Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island, NY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Brockport Blue Devils (Brockport, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY).
