Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Eastern Mennonite improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Flames host Mountain View Christian Academy (Winchester, VA) to face the Conquerors in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Conquerors go into the test with a record of 1-1.

The Bishops now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Covenant for a VISAA Blue Ridge test on Thursday, September 19. Virginia Episcopal School will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-1.
