The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks prevailed the host Goshen Central Gladiators volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Goldbacks confront the Roosevelt Presidents (Hyde Park, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 17. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Presidents enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY).

The Gladiators (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 9 Orange County III game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Warwick was dropped by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
