Connecticut High School Volleyball - Stratford overwhelmed by Newtown

Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Newtown improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to face the Panthers in a Southwest-Colonial test on Wednesday, September 18. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-2. Masuk won 3-1 in their recent league test against Immaculate (Danbury, CT)

The Red Devils now own a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunnell for a Southwest-Colonial test on Wednesday, September 18. Stratford will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.
