The South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) volleyball knocked off the host Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), 3-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hidden Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 17. South Umpqua will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Douglas (Winston, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Rogue River drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR) to clash with the Bruins in a 3A Southern Oregon bout on Thursday, September 19. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 1-7.
